Diversified Automation Limit Switch overtravel actuator devices are available in standard, medium, heavy duty, and compact models.  Our units are designed to prevent damage to the head mechanism of precision and heavy duty limit switches.

The actuator (rotating cam) moves the limit switch arm and holds it in a tripped position allowing the cam to continue to travel (overtravel).  Our actuators are compact with various styles made from sheet steel formed into channel and bent constructions weighing less than 3 lbs., and maintaining integral strength at the same time.  Bushings are made of Teflon with no lube required and our spring performance is rated at 10 million cycles.  With ease of the actuator arm extension, precision limit switches can be better protected from accidental damage and temperature extremes.
